There is an article on Foxnews talking about how Huckabee is a big government conservative.

One statement really jumped out at me:
"Huckabee is, incidentally, the only Republican candidate for president who opposes school choice."
I guess that is why Huckabee got an NEA Endorsement from NH.

The NEA in NH endorsed Huckabee by default because no other candidates were willing to talk to them at their conference. Huckabee has made some comments in support of public education, however the NEA has had to overlook his views on school choice, especially his support of homeschooling.
He was endorsed by the Homeschool Legal Defense Association PAC, something I've never heard of HSLDA doing.
Ron Paul is a Libertarian, and therefore would naturally support homeschooling, and any other thing someone wanted to do provided the government neither required it nor regulated it :-). Seriously, Libertarians are great, but they would do well to run in their own party instead of trying to make a dent in the GOP or Demorcat parties. Fellow Republicans generally do not take Mr. Paul seriously, which is a shame... if more of them had the skepticism of government Mr. Paul has, the GOP would have no worries about beating Hillary in the general election.
The only reason the Libertarian party exists, is because the Republicans lost their way. Goldwater won the Republican nomination, and would certainly be considered Libertarian today. Ron Paul is an old school Republican, and he is bringing folks into the party.
